This was made from an Ash tree that fell victim to the emerald Ash borer beetle. The tree had died and needed to be taken down on our property for safety reasons.
I really like the unusual Olive staining this Ash has in the wood. It makes for a very unique color pattern. The voids were filled with table top epoxy, the the entire board was sanded to 220 grit and then covered with a food safe product called Odie’s Oil.
The dimensions are 1 1/2” thick x 16” long x 13 1/2” narrowing to 10 1/2” wide.
